Stephen Ranger

Stephen Ranger is a Research Associate at European Centre for International Political Economy (ECIPE) and Doctoral Researcher at Centre for East Asian Studies (CEAS), University of Turku, Finland. With a background in Korean studies, he has supported the Academy of Korean Studies-funded research project on Korean cultural industries. His research interests include the history of film industries in Asia, Korea’s international history, and British foreign policy in East Asia. He has co-authored International Relations and the Development of Korea’s Film Industry (2025) published by Routledge.
