Save the Date
April 22 2015

Venue: ECIPE, Rue Belliard 4-6, 1040 Bruxelles

Speakers: Hosuk Lee-Makiyama, Magnus Rentzhog

Time: 10:30

Is data taking over European manufacturing?

Data is an increasing input in manufacturing sectors. Production is already highly digitised, increasing the need for global and secure access to data. Costs of information services, data processing and software regularly exceeds costs of energy or raw materials.

As more and more things go online – everything from self-driving cars to 3D printing – European industrial planners and lawmakers are visibly struggling to understand what it means to their manufacturing driven economies.
